Checking Oil For All-Wheel Final Drive (Transmission Oil)

- → Let the fluid cool down.

Information
- Secure vehicle to prevent it rolling away.
- To check transmission oil the vehicle must be horizontal.
Information
The transmission/final drive must be stopped for at least 15 minutes to allow for internal oil level adjustment.
- Check oil for all-wheel final drive.
- 1.1 Unscrew inspection plug and filler screw -3- .
- 1.2 Soak up emerging oil with a cloth.
- 1.3 Oil must come up to the lower edge of the inspection and filler bore.
- 1.4 If the oil level is below the inspection and filler bore -3- , fill in oil for all-wheel final drive until it runs out of the inspection and filler bore.
- 1.5 Fill in oil for all-wheel final drive.
- 1.6
Tighten inspection plug and filler screw -3-
.
- Tightening torque 60 Nm (44 ftlb.)
