Subsequent Work

Information 

Calibrate the vehicle after installing or replacing the combination sensor.

• Calibration must only be performed when the vehicle is positioned horizontally and the brake is not actuated. 

1. Install centre console.

   > 681719 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE CONSOLE - PORTION ON "INSTALLING"

2. Connect the battery and carry out instructions after connecting the battery.

   > 2X00IN - WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY

3. Calibrate the combination sensor (includes lateral and axial acceleration sensor) with PIWIS Tester  .

   Select PSM >> Maintenance/repairs  >> PSM - sensor calibration  >> Calibrate - axial acceleration sensor  and Calibrate lateral acceleration sensor  in the menu.
