Removing Atf Cooling Line (Front Section)

WARNING: Working with AT

Possible danger of injury or damage (e.g. swollen hoses, skin irritation, danger of slipping, etc.)
→ Before lines are opened, place a cloth underneath them!

→ Components that come into contact with ATF must be cleaned IMMEDIATELY with water!

→ Take appropriate protective measures (protective clothing, safety goggles, oil binding material)

→ Collect emerging ATF!

WARNING: Hot fluid

Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

NOTIFICATION

Dirt and contamination

Risk of damage to units or components
→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.

→ Clean or replace dirty components.

Disconnect ATF cooling line connection point.

Connection point for ATF cooling line
1. 1.1 Unscrew union nuts -1- and counter at the hexagon -2- at the same time.
2. 1.2 Pull off front section -3- .
3. 1.3 Catch escaping ATF and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
Remove front section of ATF cooling line -1- .

1. 2.1 Unscrew screws on ATF cooling line -2 and 3- .
2. 2.2 Remove front section of the ATF cooling line -1- .
3. 2.3 Catch escaping ATF and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
