Removing ATF Cooling Line (Rear Section)

WARNING:
Working with ATF
- Possible danger of injury or damage (e.g. swollen hoses, skin irritation, danger of slipping, etc.)
- → Before lines are opened, place a cloth underneath them!
- → Components that come into contact with ATF must be cleaned IMMEDIATELY with water!
- → Take appropriate protective measures (protective clothing, safety goggles, oil binding material)
- → Collect emerging ATF!
WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
- → Let the fluid cool down.
- → Wear personal protective gear.
NOTIFICATION
Dirt and contamination
- Risk of damage to units or components
- → Protect components from dirt and contamination.
- → Clean or replace dirty components.
- Disconnect line for ATF cooling -1-
from double clutch transmission.

- 1.1 Unscrew screw on line for ATF cooling -2- .
- 1.2 Disconnect ATF cooling line -1- .
- 1.3 Catch escaping ATF and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
- Disconnect ATF cooling line connection point.

- 2.1 Unscrew union nuts -1- and counter at the hexagon -2- at the same time.
- 2.2 Disconnect front and rear sections -3 and 4- from each other.
- 2.3 Catch escaping ATF and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
- Remove line for ATF cooling

- 3.1 Unscrew screw -2- .
- 3.2 Guide out rear section of the ATF cooling line -1- by pulling it forward and remove it.
