Removing ATF Pump

Information 

In the description below, the individual pumps with the part identifier 3856 ATF pump  are differentiated by the terms oil pump  and sucking jet pump. 

1. Wrap adhesive tape around the splines of the drive shaft -1-  and coat with grease so that the inner sealing face of the sucking jet pump is not damaged during removal and installation.

2. Unscrew ATF pump -1-  screws and slide the ATF pump -2-  on the drive shaft forward.

3. Remove oil pump.

   Screws for sucking jet pump

   1. 3.1  Unscrew the screws for the sucking jet pump -2-  at the back of the oil pump -1-  .
   2. 3.2  Detach the oil pump -1-  and sucking jet pump -3-  from the drive shaft separately.
