Installing ATF Pump

O-ring on sucking jet pump

1. 1.1  Check sealing face on the inside of the large opening on the sucking jet pump for damage and replace the sucking jet pump -1-  if necessary.
2. 1.2  Replace O-ring -2-  on the inside of the large opening on the sucking jet pump -1-  .
3. 1.3  Replace small O-ring at the bottom of the sucking jet pump -1-  and check it is seated correctly.

Screws for sucking jet pump

1. 2.1  Slide sucking jet pump -3-  and oil pump -1-  onto the drive shaft one after the other.
2. 2.2  Fit the sucking jet pump -3-  onto the oil pump -1-  .
3. 2.3  Tighten the screws -2-  .
   • Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3.25 ftlb.)

Screws for ATF pump

1. 3.1  Push ATF pump -1-  onto the drive shaft as far as it will go.
2. 3.2  Screw in and tighten screws securing the ATF pump -2-  .
   • Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)
