Removing Control Unit For Electric Steering Column Lock (ELV)

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

  → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

  → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

1. Remove control unit for electric steering column lock (ELV).

   Control unit for electric steering column lock (ELV)

   1. 1.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
   2. 1.2 Unscrew fastening screw -1-  .
   3. 1.3 Lift control unit for electric steering column lock (ELV) and pull it out of the steering column -Arrow-  .
