Removing Wheel

WARNING:
Danger of objects or loads falling down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
NOTIFICATION
Removing/fitting wheels
- Risk of damage to (ceramic) brake discs
→ Use two assembly pins when removing and fitting the wheel.
→ Carefully guide the wheel towards the wheel hub, thereby preventing any heavy impact on the (ceramic) brake disc.

The use of power tools (impact bolter) for loosening and securing the wheel bolts is not permitted.

- For vehicles with PCCB, use two assembly aids (threaded bolts for fitting wheel) to prevent contact between the wheel and brake disc.
- The assembly aids can be ordered from the Porsche Spare Parts Information PET.

Assembly aids (threaded bolts for fitting wheel)
- Remove wheel -2-

Wheel mounting
- 2.1 Loosen wheel bolts -1- (do not remove them).
- 2.2 Raise the vehicle.
- 2.3 Unscrew wheel bolts -1-
and remove wheel -2-

If necessary, get help from a second person or use > VAS 6266A - wheel mounting trolleys .
- Visually inspect the wheel bolts for damage. In the event of heavy soiling, clean the wheel bolts and concavities in the rim with a lint-free cloth. > Wheel bolt

- 3.1 Replace damaged wheel bolts.
