| 3 | Balance shaft/replace, coat mount with oil |
| 4 | Guide pin Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) |
| 5 | Guide rail |
| 6 | Chain tensioner/fit with screw locking lacquer Tightening - torque 85 Nm (63 ftlb.) |
| 7 | Sealing ring |
| 8 | Cylinder block |
| 9 | O-ring/replace, coat with oil |
| 10 | Bearing pin/coat with oil |
| 11 | Intermediate gear/if fastening screw for intermediate gear was loosened, replace intermediate gear |
| 12 | Thrust washer |
| 13 | Screw/replace, observe tightening sequence. If screw was loosened, replace intermediate gear. |
| 14 | Guide rail |
| 15 | Guide pin Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) |
| 16 | Balance shaft/replace following removal, coat mount with oil |
| 17 | Sprocket |
| 18 | Drive chain |
Tightening sequence for intermediate gear
| 1 | Pre-tighten intermediate gear with new screw. Initial tightening 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) arrow Turn intermediate gear. There must be no play on the intermediate gear. If there is, loosen and tighten it again. |
| 1 | Tighten screw. Final tightening 25 Nm (19 ftlb.) |
| 1 | Screw the screw further. Torque angle + 90° |
