Installing The Starter

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Install the starter -1- .

1.1 Replace screw -5- .
1.2 Position starter -1- together with screw -7- and fit screw -7- by hand.
1.3 Position spacer sleeve -6- and fit new screw -5- by hand.
1.4 Tighten screw -5- .
- Initial tightening 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
- Final tightening + 105° +/- 30°
1.5 Tighten screw -7- .
- Tightening torque 65 Nm (48 ftlb.)
1.6 Position B+ line -4- on the starter and tighten nut -3- .
- Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)

1.7 Connect and lock electric plug connection -2- .

Starter

Install right engine mount sup port -1- .

2.2 Tighten screws -2- .

Tightening torque 40 Nm (30 ftlb.)

Right engine mount support

Secure electric lines -1 and 2- on engine mount support.

3.1 Position electric line -2- and tighten nut -4- .
- Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

3.2 Position electric line -1- and secure with tie-wraps -3- .
