Installing Vehicle Electrical System Battery

Battery can explode
Electrical discharges
1. → Do not rub the battery with a dry cloth.

Information

Switch off all loads and remove the ignition key.

Do not disconnect the battery while the engine is running.
Disconnect and re-connect battery with extreme caution.

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Tighten fastening screw on clamp support for battery to > Tightening - torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) .

Tighten fastening nuts on terminal clamps to > Tightening - torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.) .
