Removing Temperature Sensor

WARNING: Hot fluid 
  • Danger of scalding 
    1. → Avoid contact with hot fluid.
    2. → Wear personal protective gear.

Information 

When the engine is cold, the cap on the coolant reservoir can be opened briefly in order to release residual pressure in the cooling system.

  1. Remove temperature sensor -1-  .

    Temperature sensor

    1. 1.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
    2. 1.2  Unscrew screw -3-  .
    3. 1.3  Pull out temperature sensor -1-  .
    4. 1.4  Catch any escaping coolant using suitable aids.
