- Checking the cap on the coolant expansion tank.
Tester on coolant reservoir cap
- 2.1 V. A. G 1274B - Place cooling system tester with V. A. G 1274B/15 - adapter for cooling system tester on the coolant expansion tank cap.
- 2.2 Use V. A. G 1274B - cooling system tester to create overpressure of about 2 bar .
- 2.3
Check the pressure:
The overpressure must drop to 1.8 to 1.6 bar and stay at this level.
- 2.4
If the overpressure does not behave as described:
Replacing the cap on the coolant expansion tank.
- Remove special tool and screw on coolant reservoir cap -1-
securely.
