Drain Engine Oil

Information 

• Only use engine oils that have been tested and approved by Porsche AG. 
• Dispose of used oil and oil filter in accordance with legal requirements in your country. 

1. Have a suitable container ready for collecting the engine oil.
2. Open the cap -1-  .

3. Disconnect ATF lines -1-  .

   For plastic oil pan

   Bracket for ATF lines

   1. 3.1  Unscrew screw -2-  .
   2. 3.2  Leave ATF lines -1-  hanging at the side.
4. Drain engine oil.

   Oil drain plug

   1. 4.1  Press ATF lines up slightly until the oil drain plug -1-  is accessible.
   2. 4.2  Unscrew oil drain plug -1-  using T10549 - assembly tool  , remove it from the oil pan -2-  and drain engine oil into a suitable container.
   3. 4.3  Fit oil drain plug -1-  with a new  O-ring and tighten as far as it will go using T10549 - assembly tool  .
5. Secure ATF lines -1-  .

   Bracket for ATF lines

   1. 5.1  Position ATF lines -1-  .
   2. 5.2  Fit and tighten screw -2-  .

      Tightening torque 8 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 

6. Drain engine oil.

   For steel oil pan 

   1. 6.1  Unscrew oil drain plug and drain engine oil into a suitable container.
   2. 6.2 Fit and tighten new  oil drain plug

      Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
