Subsequent Work

  1. Install sealing ring for double clutch.

    > 386955 - REPLACING SEALING RING FOR DOUBLE CLUTCH

  2. Fill in ATF.

    > 370255 - CHANGING ATF

    Information 

    The PIWIS Tester  instructions take precedence since the description may be different with later Tester releases.

    The procedure described here has been structured in general terms. Different text or additional information may appear on the PIWIS Tester. 

  3. Calibrate the double clutch using the PIWIS Tester  .
    1. 3.1  Connect the Tester to the vehicle and start it. Switch on ignition.
    2. 3.2  Select the required vehicle type.
    3. 3.3  Select PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK))  control unit and press >> to continue.
    4. 3.4  Select the Maintenance/repairs menu and press >> to confirm your selection.
    5. 3.5 Calibrate  must be selected. Then press F12 to continue.
    6. 3.6 Calibration after replacing transmission mechanism components/double clutch  must be selected. Then press F8 to start.
    7. 3.7  The message "Calibration completed successfully" appears. Press F12 to end the process.
    8. 3.8  Switch off the ignition.
    9. 3.9  Wait 30 seconds.
    10. 3.10  Switch on the ignition.
