Installing ATF Pan

NOTIFICATION 

Dirt and contamination 

• Risk of damage to units or components 

  → Protect components from dirt and contamination.

  → Clean or replace dirty components.

Information 

• The engine must not be started if there is no ATF in the transmission. 
• Risk of damage to the transmission. 

1. Fit  new seal -1-  .

1. Clean sealing face on the ATF pan -2-  .
2. Insert nubs of the new  seal -1-  into the ATF pan -2-  .
3. Clean the magnetic strips -1-  and check that they are fitted over the entire surface in the ATF pan.

4. Install ATF pan -1-  .

   1. 3.1  Clean the sealing surface on the transmission.
   2. 3.2  Fit the ATF pan -1-  , fit screws -2 to 16-  and tighten crosswise.

      > Tightening - torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
