Mounting Double Clutch Transmission

→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

Check that the intermediate plate on the joint flange is engaged and pushed onto the dowel sleeves -1- Replace missing dowel sleeves -1- if necessary.

Check that the locking element of the starter -1- is inserted correctly and move it into installation position if necessary -Arrows- .

Fit double clutch transmission.
1. 3.1 Screw in screws on double clutch transmission -1 to 5- as far as they will go by hand.
2. 3.2 Tighten screws on double clutch transmission -1 and 2- .
  > Initial - tightening 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
  
  > Final tightening + 105
3. 3.3 Tighten screw on double clutch transmission -3- .
  > Initial - tightening 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
  
  > Final tightening + 105° 3.4 Tighten screw on double clutch transmission -5- .
  
  > Initial - tightening 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)
  
  > Final tightening + 105°
4. 3.5 Tighten screws on double clutch transmission -4- .
  > Initial - tightening 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)
  
  > Final tightening + 105°

  Flange screws securing engine to transmission
Secure the starter.
> 276019 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING STARTER (V6 TURBO)
> T40294 - Hook and support tool must now be removed.

Tighten new screws on drive plate.

6.3 Insert cover on service opening -2- .
