Preliminary Work - Engine Compartment Section

Information 

• The position of the fuse for the fuel pump can be found in the current Porsche After Sales vehicle electrical system documentation (PAB) fuse assignment.

1. Attach or mount a warning sign in a clearly visible position on the vehicle. > Example of warning sign

2. Relieve fuel pressure in the system.
   1. 2.1  Pull out fuse for fuel pump.
   2. 2.2  Start the engine, wait until it stops and then re-insert the fuse.
3. Remove engine cover (design cover).
