Mounting Engine

Risk of squashing or crushing
1. → Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

Only if loosened during removal:
Secure engine mount -1- to the engine.

Left engine mount
1. 1.1 Fit engine mount -1- on the engine.
2. 1.2 Fit and tighten new screw -2- .
  - Initial tightening 90 Nm (67 ftlb.)
  - Final tightening + 90°
Information

Get another person to help during removal and mounting.
Carefully position the engine on the front-axle carrier.
Secure engine mount -1- to the front-axle carrier.

Left engine mount
1. 3.1 Fit and tighten screws -3- .
  - Tightening torque 55 Nm (41 ftlb.)
2. 3.2 Fit and tighten new screws -4- .
  - Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
Remove workshop crane from the engine.
