Adjusting Lock Peg (Striker Pin)

Adjusting element for striker pin

• The striker pin can be adjusted by changing the plasticity of the adjusting element in the B-pillar. 
• The setting is retained when the striker pin is removed. 

1. Loosen screws -2-  .

2. Move lock peg -1-  outwards.

   1. 2.1  Move the striker pin -1-  outwards (if necessary) using > VAS 6965 - puller set  (-Arrow-  ).
3. Adjust the striker pin -1-  to the rear/down/up (if necessary) -Arrows-  .

   Lock peg

   1. 3.1  Move lock peg -1-  to the required position using a plastic hammer.
   2. 3.2  Carefully close the door and check adjustment.
4. Tighten screws -2-  to > Tightening - torque 25 Nm (9 ftlb.)  .
