Removing Transmission Oil Cooler

Coolant hoses on transmission oil cooler

1. 1.1  Loosen spring band clamps -2-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
2. 1.2  Pull off coolant hoses -1-  .
3. 1.3  Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.

Transmission oil line on transmission oil cooler

1. 2.1  Loosen retaining clips -2-  .
2. 2.2  Unclip transmission oil line -1-  from clip -3-  and guide it out.
3. 2.3  Catch escaping transmission oil and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.

Transmission oil cooler

1. 3.1  Unscrew screws on transmission oil cooler -2-  .
2. 3.2  Pull transmission oil cooler -1-  off the transmission to the rear and guide it out.
3. 3.3  Catch emerging transmission oil and close off connection openings using suitable stoppers.
