Installing Transmission-Oil Pump

Transmission flange for transmission-oil pump

1. 1.1  Cover the opening of the transmission flange -1-  using suitable aids to protect the inside of the transmission from dirt and chips.
2. 1.2  Check the transmission flange -1-  for sharp edges and burrs and remove them using suitable aids if necessary.
3. 1.3  Carefully clean the transmission flange -1-  using suitable cleaning agents.

Transmission-oil pump

1. 2.1  Insert transmission-oil pump -4-  with a new sealing ring  and suitable lubricant evenly into the transmission flange at the correct position.

   If necessary, carefully tap the transmission-oil pump -4-  in fully using a rubber hammer.

2. 2.2  Screw in and tighten screws -6-  .

   > Tightening torque 24 N.m (17.7 ft lb.) +/-1 N.m (0.7 ft lb.) 

3. 2.3  Connect transmission oil line -3-  to the transmission-oil pump -4-  and clip it into the holder -5-  .
4. 2.4  Fit lock -2-  for transmission oil line -3-  and engage all locking lugs in the transmission-oil pump -4-  .
5. 2.5  Connect and lock electric plug connection -1-  .
