Removing Transmission

WARNING: Danger of objects or loads falling down 
  • Risk of squashing or crushing 

    → Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

  1. Release and disconnect cable plug -1-  on the hall sender -2-  .

  2. Disconnect coolant hoses -3-  from coolant collection unit.
    1. 2.1  Unclip clip -1-  .
    2. 2.2  Pull spring clamps -2-  in direction of -arrow-  to release the plug-in couplings.
    3. 2.3  Pull off coolant hoses -3-  .
    4. 2.4  Collect emerging coolant.

  3. > VAS 6100 - Workshop Crane  must be ready.
  4. Secure the transmission -2-  with lifting straps -1-  .
    1. 4.1  Fit restraining straps on the transmission as shown.

    NOTE: Mechanical overload of components 
    • Component will be damaged irreparably 

      → Observe guidelines for assembly and disassembly

  5. Remove transmission.
    1. 5.1  Unscrew screws -1 and 2-  first
    2. 5.2  Unscrew the remaining screws -3 to 6-  .
    3. 5.3  Remove transmission using > VAS 6100 - Workshop Crane  .
