Removing Shift And Selector Cables
Information
Shift and selector cables must not be bent or kinked.
- Shift transmission to neutral.
- Release bayonet locks -1-
in -direction of arrow-
.

Bayonet locks
- Disconnect shift and selector cables -1-
at the center console
- 3.1
Disengage shift and selector cables -1-
from support bracket on the center console -2-
.
- 3.2
Press rubber sleeve -3-
inwards out of the feed-through element.

Shift and selector cables on support bracket on center console
- Disconnect shift cable -3-
on manual transmission at the left.
- 4.1
Lever off ball joint -1-
using > VAS 6933 - Disassembly tool
.
- 4.2
Release shift cable -3-
at the support bracket -2-
and pull it off.

- Disconnect shift cable -3-
on manual transmission at the right.

Lever off ball joint -1-

Release selector cable -3-
at the support bracket -2-
and pull it off.
