Preliminary Work

Information 

The vehicle must be at a level driving position in order to check the transmission oil level and top up or change transmission oil correctly. If the vehicle is not raised horizontally using the lifting platform and even if the vehicle and transmission are at a slight angle, the transmission oil level cannot be determined correctly.

1. Raise the vehicle to a level driving position 

   > LIFTING THE VEHICLE

2. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.
