Information 

The procedure for performing suspension alignment on the Cayman GT4/Spyder is similar or often identical to the procedure used on the Cayman.

The differences are as follows:

Mounting for trailing arm

• Adjustment values (vehicle height and wheel alignment values). 
• The vehicle height of the Cayman GT4/GT4 RS/718 Spyder can be adjusted at the front and rear axle by means of the adjusting nut(s) on the corresponding spring strut or struts. 
• Maximum wheel-load difference, right to left, on front and rear axle = 20 kg. 
• On electronic wheel-alignment analyses, spoiler adapters of 50 mm or 100 mm are required for the measured-value pickups, depending on the wheel-alignment analyses. This is the only way of facilitating the transfer of data from the right side anti-clockwise. Read and follow the operating instructions provided by the measuring equipment manufacturer! 
• The camber adjustment on the front axle on the Cayman GT4/Spyder is performed only via the supporting mount. The intermediate plates -Arrow-  on the 2-part wishbone must not be changed, as this can result in an impermissible wheel overlap at the wheel housing.
• the camber setting (fine adjustment) is performed only via the camber eccentric adjuster -2-  . The intermediate plates must not be changed.
• Check all wheels for clearance after the adjustment procedure and assembly work! 

1. After each wheel alignment, calibrate the height sensors and front camera for traffic sign recognition using the PIWIS Tester.
