Adjusting Vehicle Height/Correcting Wheel Load Differences
- Before adjusting the vehicle height/wheel loads, remove all suspension/stabilizers on the front and rear axle stabilizers.
The effects of the high turning forces of the stabilizers can falsify the measurement.

Adjusting vehicle height at front
1 Lock nut 2 Adjust nut - 2.1 Loosen lock nut -1- . Use a > 9647 - hook wrench or special tool hook wrench (hook wrench insert) to do this.
- 2.2 Raise the vehicle at the jacking points until the wheels can turn freely.
- 2.3 Adjust nut -2- turn clockwise = vehicle higher/turn anti-clockwise = vehicle lower.
- 2.4 Lower the vehicle onto its wheels (remove pit lifter).
- 2.5 Compress (pull down) the vehicle once and allow it to spring back freely. Then check the vehicle height and wheel loads.
- 2.6 After you have adjusted the lock nut(s) -1-
on the front and rear axle, tighten with special tool > 9647 - hook wrench
together with a torque wrench.
> Tightening torque 50 N.m (36.9 ft lb.)

- After adjusting the vehicle height/wheel loads, all suspension/stabilizers on the front and rear axle stabilizers should be fitted without tension
.
To ensure that there is no tension, loosen the anti-roll-bar mounts and turn the anti-roll bar as required if necessary.
