Information 

• The temperature of the air from the Centre air vent must be within the prescribed tolerance range after 8 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature (see diagram). 

General test prerequisites 

Cayman: Close doors, windows and sliding roof.

Boxster: Close doors, windows and convertible top.

Push temperature sensor of the > V.A.G 1526E - Handheld multimeter  into the Centre air vent.

Measure ambient temperature.

Open all air vents.

Switch on the ignition.

Press recirculated air button.

Press A/C MAX button.

Start the engine.

Set engine speed to 2, 000 rpm (start of time measurement).

If the specified nominal values are not reached, the air conditioning must be checked for leaks and repaired.
