Electric wire harness

1. 1.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection for temperature sensor -2-  .
2. 1.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connection for hall sender -3-  .
3. 1.3  Release and disconnect electric plug connection for high-pressure pump -4-  .
4. 1.4  Set electric wire harness -1-  aside.

Coolant distributor

1. 4.1  Loosen coolant hoses -2 and 3-  .
   1. 4.1.1  Release spring clamp -4-  and disconnect coolant hose -2-  .
   2. 4.1.2  Loosen spring band clamp -5-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamp pliers  and pull off coolant hose -3-  .
   3. 4.1.3  Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
2. 4.2  Unscrew and remove screws -6-  .
3. 4.3  Disconnect coolant distributor -1-  from coolant pipes and set it aside.
4. 4.4  Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.

Guide and tensioning rails - cylinder bank 1

1. 5.1  Unscrew bearing pin -3-  .
2. 5.2  Unscrew guide pin -4-  and remove tensioning rail -2-  .

1. 6.1  Unscrew screws in the sequence -1 to 14-  .
2. 6.2  Remove cylinder head and old cylinder head gasket.
