Replacing Tensioner
Information
- When fitting the tensioner, make sure that the lettering can be read from outside.
- The bellows must be facing upwards (see inscription).
- Fit tensioner on carrier for tension roller.
- 1.1 Fit and tighten screw securing tensioner to carrier for tension roller -arrow- .
> Tightening torque 23 N.m (17 ft lb.)
Tensioner on carrier for tension roller
- Position belt tensioner and screw in screw on top of belt tensioner -arrow-
by hand, but do not tighten yet.
Top screw on belt tensioner
- Screw in screw on bottom of belt tensioner -arrow-
by hand, but do not tighten yet.
Bottom screw on belt tensioner
- Tighten screws on top and bottom of belt tensioner.
Top screw on belt tensioner:
> Tightening torque 28 N.m (21 ft lb.) +/- 3 N.m (2 ft lb.)
Bottom screw on belt tensioner:
> Tightening torque 28 N.m (21 ft lb.) +/- 3 N.m (2 ft lb.)
