Installing Oil Separator
Information
- O-rings must always be replaced.
- O-rings must be coated lightly with Kluber Syntheso Glep.
- Replace O-rings -2-
on the oil separator -1-
.
O-rings on oil separator (shown on the 981)
- 1.1 Grease new O-rings -2- .
- Insert oil separator into the engine compartment from above and fit it on the oil bracket.
- Fit screws on the oil separator.
- Tighten screw -4-
.
> Tightening torque 10 N.m (7.5 ft lb.)
Front oil separator screw (shown on the 981)
- Tighten screw -1-
.
> Tightening torque 13 N.m (9.5 ft lb.)
Oil separator screw under intake-air distributor (shown on the 981)
- Connect crankcase vent line -3-
to the oil separator until the lock engages securely.
