Installing Engine Mounting

1. 1.1  Position engine mount with engine carrier (bracket) -1-  .
2. 1.2  Fit and tighten screws -5-  .

   > Tightening torque 65 N.m (48 ft lb.) 

3. 1.3  Fit and tighten nuts -4-  .

   > Tightening torque 65 N.m (48 ft lb.) 

4. 1.4  Install foam part -2-  .
   1. 1.4.1  Position lines -3-  .
   2. 1.4.2  Insert foam part -2-  .

      Engine mount with engine carrier (bracket)

1. 3.1  Insert spacer sleeve -5-  .
2. 3.2  Fit screw -3-  and tighten using > 9836/1 - socket-wrench insert  and counter at the hexagon -4-  at the same time.

   > Tightening torque 50 N.m (37 ft lb.) 

3. 3.3  Fit and tighten screw -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 65 N.m (48 ft lb.)

Engine carrier (bracket)

1. 4.1  Push on and lock quick connector for coolant vent line -6-  .
2. 4.2  Push on coolant hoses at the underbody -1-  .
3. 4.3  Fasten spring band clamps -5-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamp pliers  .
4. 4.4  Install strut -2-  .
   1. 4.4.1  Position strut -2-  and clip in clip -4-  on coolant hoses at the underbody -1-  .
   2. 4.4.2  Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

      > Tightening torque 65 N.m (48 ft lb.)
