Installing Engine Carrier

1. 1.1  Position engine carrier -1-  .
2. 1.2  Fit and tighten screws -5-  .

   > Tightening torque 50 N.m (37 ft lb.) 

3. 1.3  Screw on and tighten nuts -4-  .

   > Tightening torque 65 N.m (48 ft lb.) 

4. 1.4  Install foam part -2-  .
   1. 1.4.1  Move lines -3-  into installation position.
   2. 1.4.2  Insert foam part -2-  .

Engine carrier

1. 2.1  Insert spacer sleeve -5-  .
2. 2.2  Fit and tighten screw -3-  and counter at the hexagon -4-  .

   > Tightening torque 50 N.m (37 ft lb.) 

3. 2.3  Fit and tighten screw -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 50 N.m (37 ft lb.)

Upper threaded joint on engine carrier

1. 3.1  Push on and lock quick connector for coolant vent line -6-  .
2. 3.2  Connect coolant hoses -1-  .
3. 3.3  Fasten spring band clamps -5-  using > VAS 6890 - Spring Band Clamp Pliers  .
4. 3.4  Install strut -2-  .
   1. 3.4.1  Position strut -2-  and clip in clip -4-  on coolant hoses -1-  .
   2. 3.4.2  Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

      > Tightening torque 65 N.m (48 ft lb.)
