Installing Rear Muffler

1. 2.1  Position rear silencer -1-  on > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack  in the vehicle from below.
2. 2.2  Attach rear silencer -1-  with > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack  to the exhaust flanges on the particle filters -6-  .
3. 2.3  Lay tension straps -4-  in the holder -5-  .
4. 2.4  Tighten screws for tension straps -4-  .

   > Tightening torque 10 N.m (7.5 ft lb.) 

5. 2.5  Connect vacuum lines -3-  and secure using new  clamps -2-  and > 3340A - pliers  .

1. 4.1  Screw on new  exhaust flange nuts -3-  and tighten.

   > Tightening torque 23 N.m (17 ft lb.)
