Preliminary Work

  1. If the parking brake shoes, the wheel bearing or the wheel bearing housing need to be replaced, complete the following steps: 

    Connect and start the PIWIS Tester  .

    1. 1.1 Select Parking brake  .
    2. 1.2 Maintenance/repairs  must now be selected.
    3. 1.3 Move to installation position  .
  2. Remove rear spring strut.

    > 427119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SPRING STRUT .
