Removing Support Plate

Support plate

Only remove and install the struts and support plate under the following conditions:

• If the support plate -2- was removed or if the threaded joint for the struts on the rear-axle side sections was loosened, suspension alignment is then required. 
• All wheels must be raised (freely suspended). 
• Always lift the vehicle at the specified jacking points with the lifting platform set up evenly. (Align lifting arms evenly to avoid distortion). 
• The vehicle must not be supported by its wheels after removing the struts and support plate. 
• If the vehicle has to be supported by its wheels, the components must be re-installed beforehand. 

1. Unscrew and remove fastening screws and fastening nuts -1-  on the support plate -2-  and remove support plate.
