Preliminary Work

  1. Jack and raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.

    > 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE

  2. Remove rear underbody panelling.

    > WM, 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY - section on "Removing"

  3. Remove struts.

    > 421320 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STRUTS 

  4. Remove support plate.
