Preliminary Work

  1. Remove front wheel.

    > 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL .

  2. Unscrew hexagon nut -1-  securing wheel hub to tension bolt using > 9471 - socket wrench  . Another person is needed in order to actuate the service brake.

    Hexagon nut for wheel hub at tension bolt

    1. 2.1 Replace hexagon nut  .
  3. Remove front brake disc.

    For PCCB,

    > 465119 Removing and installing front PCCB brake disc - section on  "REMOVING "

    For steel brakes,

    > 465019 Removing and installing front brake disc - section on  "REMOVING ".
