Installing Rear Brake CALLIPER

Information

Replace brake calliper fastening screws each time they are removed.

Information

Components that come into contact with brake fluid must be cleaned with brake cleaner.

IMPORTANT: Brake pads that have been contaminated with brake fluid must be replaced.

Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
Fastening screw securing holder for electric wiring harness for brake pad wear indicator and brake line to wheel carrier > Tightening torque 10 N.m (7.5 ft lb.) .

Fastening screws securing brake calliper to wheel carrier > Tightening torque 85 N.m (62.7 ft lb.) .

Brake line to brake calliper > Tightening torque 16 N.m (11.8 ft lb.) .
