Replacing Brake CALLIPER Screws

Information 

The brake calliper screws may only be replaced in the event of a complaint (corrosion) and only on grey cast-iron brakes on the front axle.

If no complaint is received, the brake calliper screws must not be loosened or unscrewed.

1. Unscrew outer brake calliper screws -1-  on the front brake callipers using > 9909 - socket-wrench insert  .

2. Clean threaded bores using compressed air.
3. Tighten outer brake calliper screws -1-  on the front brake callipers using > 9768 - electronic torque wrench 2 - 100 N.m (1.5 - 74 ft lb.)  and > 9909 - socket-wrench insert  . > Initial tightening 10 N.m (7.4 ft lb.)  > Final tightening + 30° + 4°
