Removing (Front Lateral) Seal For Convertible-Top Compartment Lid

Installation position of lateral seal for convertible-top compartment lid

  1. Move convertible top into a suitable position.

    Removing seal for convertible-top compartment lid

  2. Heat lateral seal for convertible-top compartment lid -1-  in the bonding area -2-  using > VAS 1978/14A - Hot-Air Blower  or > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower  .
  3. Insert a plastic spatula between seal for convertible-top compartment lid -1-  and body -3-  and lever the seal off in direction of arrow -A-  .
