Adjusting Convertible Top Lock

Information 

If the installation position was not marked during removal, adjust convertible top lock.

1. Position convertible top lock.

   Positioning convertible top lock

   1. 1.1 Fit convertible top lock on the roof frame.
   2. 1.2 Screw in new screws.
   3. 1.3 Slide the convertible top lock back fully -arrow-  .
2. Tighten screws -4-  to the specified initial tightening torque. > Initial tightening 6 N.m (4.5 ft lb.)

3. Close the convertible top fully.
4. Open the convertible top.
5. Mark the position of the lock -arrows-  .

6. Loosen screws.
7. Move convertible top lock by -dimension X-  away from direction of travel. > Adjustment value 1.5 mm

8. Tighten the screws. > Tightening torque 36 N.m (27 ft lb.) 
9. Carry out a function test.
