Removing Front Roof Frame

Installation position of front roof frame

1. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  for filler pieces.

2. Remove filler pieces -1-  by pushing them down in direction of arrow -A-  .

3. Release and disconnect electric plug connection at the left of the convertible top lock -2-  on the convertible top lock.

4. Release electric plug connection -2-  for wire harness -3-  on convertible top lock -1-  and disconnect it.

5. Loosen clips -1-  and cut off tie-wrap -2-  .

   Removing wire harness

   1. 5.1 Remove wire harness -3-  .
6. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  on the inside of the roof frame.

   Loosening inner roof frame

7. Unscrew fastening screws at the rear of the roof frame -1-  and lift the roof frame -2-  up and off.
