Removing And Installing Dashboard Bracket
- Disconnect electric wire harness for dashboard.

Disconnect electric plug connections at connection point on left A-pillar.
- 1.1.1 Release electric plug connections at the left fuse box -arrows A- and guide them out -arrows B- .
- 1.1.2 Release electric plug connections -arrow a- and disconnect them -arrow C- .
Releasing and pulling off electric plug connections

Loosen clips -1-
on wire harness for heating/fresh-air unit.

Disconnect electric plug connections at connection point on right A-pillar.
- 1.3.1 Release electric plug connections at the left fuse box -arrows A- and guide them out -arrows B- .
- 1.3.2 Release electric plug connections -arrow a- and disconnect them -arrow C- .
Releasing and pulling off electric plug connections

Disconnect electric plug connection for blower power supply.
- 1.4.1 Release electric plug connection -arrow A- and guide it out -arrow B- .
- 1.4.2 Release electric plug connection at the locking lugs -arrows a- and disconnect it -arrow C- .

Disconnect electric plug connections at connection point on left A-pillar.
- Loosen mounting for dashboard bracket.

Unscrew nuts -1-

Unscrewing nuts
- 2.2 Unscrew and remove lower screw at the right of the tunnel -2- .
- 2.3 Unscrew and remove outer screw -3- .
- 2.4
Unscrew and remove side screws -1-
.
Loosening dashboard bracket
- 2.5 Detach dashboard bracket from the body.
- 2.6
Unclip electric lines -1-
on the right side of the dashboard bracket -2-
.
Releasing electric lines
- 2.7 Remove dashboard bracket by pulling it towards the passenger compartment.
- 2.1
Unscrew nuts -1-
.
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
- Screw in and tighten side screws -1- . > Tightening torque 23 (17 ftlb.) Nm
- Screw in and tighten lower screw at the right of the tunnel -2- . > Tightening torque 23 (17 ftlb.) Nm
- Screw in and tighten outer screw -3-
. > Tightening torque 23 (17 ftlb.) Nm
Securing dashboard bracket
- Screw in and tighten nuts -1-
. > Tightening torque 8 (6 ftlb.) Nm
