Removing Cowl Panel

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component. 
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

1. Remove seam seal in area -A-  .

2. Drill out spotwelds using > Nr.129 - spotweld drill; see Gr. 2.4; Workshop Equipment Service Information. 
   1. 2.1  Remove welded seams in area -A-  .

3. heat bonding surfaces.
