Installing (Upper) Seat-Belt Connection Reinforcements

Information 

Shown on driver's side; the steps are identical for the passenger's side.

1. Coat the connection area on the body in the marked areas at the left and right with > ADHESIVE 000.043.206.30. 

   > 5X00IN21 WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE

2. Apply adhesive to the prepared bonding area of the (upper) seat-belt connection reinforcement in the marked areas. > ADHESIVE 000.043.206.30 

   > 5X00IN21 WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE

   Apply adhesive

3. Insert (upper) seat-belt connection reinforcement at the left and right and align it with the bores you have made.
4. Rivet in (upper) seat-belt connection reinforcement at the left in area -E-  and (upper) seat-belt connection reinforcement at the right in area -F-  from the passenger compartment using > BLIND RIVET 999.190.230.01. 

   > 5X00IN83 CONNECTING ELEMENTS FOR BODY REPAIRS

   Riveting in (upper) seat-belt connection reinforcements

5. Fit clips -3-  and secure with screws -4-  . > Tightening torque 20 (15 ftlb.) Nm
