Preparing Connection Areas Of Body For Installing (Lower) Seat-Belt Connection Reinforcement

Shown on driver's side; the steps are identical for the passenger's side.

Information 

Threaded bolt is installed only on the left-hand side of the vehicle.

1. Remove threaded bolt -1-  from the body.

2. Grind down connection point.
3. Fit in and secure (lower) seat-belt connection reinforcement -1-  in accordance with dimension -U-  and dimension -V-  . > Length 44 mm  > Length 2 mm

4. Mark drilling positions at existing bores -A-  and -B-  on the (lower) seat-belt connection reinforcement.

5. Remove (lower) seat-belt connection reinforcement.
6. Drill and de-burr holes.
   1. 6.1  Drill and de-burr holes in areas -A-  . > Diameter 6.8 mm 
   2. 6.2  Drill and de-burr hole in area -B-  . > Diameter 14 mm

7. Prepare connection area on the body for bonding in the marked areas.
