Installing Seat Frame
WARNING:
Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.
Information
Always replace screws on the front seat. Micro-self-locking or self-tapping screws must not be modified, greased or loosened and then screwed in again.
Information
The help of another person is required to secure the backrest.
- Install new seat frame in reverse order.
- Screw in and tighten new screws in backrest frame on the seat frame. > Tightening torque 34 N.m (25 ft lb.) +/- 4 N.m (3 ft lb.)
