Removing And Installing (Central) Headlight Control Unit

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
- Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Information

A Days comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation.
Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.

Unscrew nuts -1- .
Loosen (central) headlight control unit -2- until the electric plug connection is accessible.

Disconnect electric plug connection -1- and remove (central) headlight control unit -2- from the vehicle.
