Removing Steering Wheel

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Turn wheels to straight-ahead position.
  2. Only for vehicles with heated steering wheel (I-no. 1XE, 1XG, 2FF, 2FG, 2FX or 2ZH): 

    Release and disconnect electric plug connection for steering wheel heating -1-  .

  3. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for airbag -2-  .

    Information 

    After unscrewing the screw and before  removing the steering wheel, mark the position of the steering wheel relative to the steering column.

  4. Unscrew and remove screw -1-  .

  5. Remove steering wheel.
